中国重型机械研究院股份公司（原西安重型机械研究所）,创建于1956年，系我国装备工业较早建立的国家级应用技术开发研究院、所之一，现隶属于世界500强企业国机集团子公司国机重装。专门从事金属的精炼，连续铸钢，板、带、箔材及管、棒、型材精密轧制，精整、处理及深加工，挤压与锻造成形，节能与环保等重大技术装备，以及配套的机械传动，液压传动、润滑与控制，电气传动、仪表控制与计算机网络等系统的研发、设计、成套与工程总承包，并拥有相关一系列技术的自主知识产权。

60多年来，200多项“中国首创”、1100余项科研成果、1000多件国家专利在这里诞生，350多项科技成果荣获国家和省部级科技进步奖，2500多台套先进的设备和数百套大型成套装备成功应用在祖国大江南北，并销往美国、俄罗斯、印度、土耳其、伊朗、韩国、缅甸等国家。

Headquartered in Xi’an P.R China, established in 1956, Sino-heavymach is one of China’s earliest state-level engineering company and scientific research institutes in metallurgical industry, which joint-ventured by China National Machinery Industry Corporation(Sinomach) and Baosteel, two of the Global 500 Companies.
